Today, more than ever, finding meaningful learning opportunities for our children that can prepare them for a successful future is imperative, and
BizWorld is here to help you achieve just that!
Through the collaborative, innovative, and adaptive strategies emphasized in our programs, we help students develop an array of critical skills, while they explore a variety of future
career pathways.
BizWorld Connect is an after-school enrichment program, led by a BizWorld Educator, and designed to teach individual students in middle and high school how to start a business while virtually collaborating with other young entrepreneurs around the nation.
Students will acquire 21st-century skills, and apply design thinking techniques to create their very own business.
Our program consists of 3 levels that will propel their entrepreneurial learning to its highest potential.

Business Basics & Creativity
Ages

Learning Focus

Utilize technology as a means for problem-solving
through the design thinking process. -
Participants receive a mission to solve a challenge
that a specific target audience is facing. -
Through the creation of a mobile app, they offer a
product that is potentially profitable and interesting
for their buyer persona.
Technology Requirements
- Reliable internet connection
- Computer/Tablet to view lessons online
- PDF software to view and complete worksheets digitally
- Webcam for video calls to interact with other teammates and teacher virtually
Timeline
Seventeen (17) 90-minute sessions
- Sessions meet weekly for 4 months or daily for two weeks (dependent on selected course)
Curriculum
- Learn business vocabulary
- Work as a company (group) and develop teamwork skills
- Manage cash flow by keeping track of all finances throughout the program
- Design and manufacture a product
- Create a marketing campaign, including a unique logo
- Learn how profit is earned
Innovation & Design Thinking
Ages
- Middle and High school sessions available
- Completion of Level 1 or a BizWorldPRO class is a requirement.

- Use design thinking to test your idea and challenge your design
- Create a marketing campaign, including a unique logo
- Sell products to customers and generate revenue
Social Entrepreneurship & Real-World Application
Ages
- Middle and High school sessions available
- Completion of Level 1 & 2 classes are a requirement.
Learning Focus
- Apply all the learnings from BizWorld and create a real-world entrepreneurial endeavor.
- Students form teams of two to co-found a viable company with a service or product that meets the demand and interest of potential customers.
- The most viable companies are considered for the Young Entrepreneur Success (YES!) Accelerator Program.
