At the Educating for Careers Conference in Sacramento earlier this year, our Development & Community Director Melissa Doppler spoke with dozens of CTE teachers from across the country.

One culinary teacher shared that while her students were learning how to cook and serve food, they weren’t learning how to open and operate a food business.
She told Melissa,
“This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I teach them how to cook—but they want to know how to turn it into something of their own.”
