Dear BizWorld Community,

As we all cope with the rapidly changing news of the spread of COVID-19 and its impact on our communities and organizations across the nation, our priority is to take actions that ensure everyone’s safety. As such, we are following CDC and state/local health agency guidelines and are partnering with schools and parents with the aim of preventing the spread of the virus.

With schools closing across the country we want to do our best to provide meaningful teaching resources for teachers and parents in these unprecedented times. We hope to help families whose children are at home and the teachers scrambling to provide meaningful curriculum online.

To this end, Bizworld is providing:

  • Ages 8-14:
    • FREE access to BizWorldPRO and the BizWorld Impact Challenge for new or returning users who would like to incorporate it into their new lesson plans. Use code #bizworldcares in our online store to receive a free subscription to either product. The BizWorldPRO teaching materials are 100% online and we have created a Virtual and at Home Teaching Guide to accommodate the program to be used at home with only your kid(s) or interacting with their friends virtually.
    • FREE access to our newly launched BizWorldCONNECT designed to teach students how to start a business on their own or by virtually collaborating and interacting with friends. This five-session adaptation of our flagship program BizWorldPRO comes with fully guided videos delivered by our educators that can also be taught by school teachers or parents if preferred. Use code #bizworldcares in our online store to receive a free subscription.
  • Ages 14-22: Our YES! (Young Entrepreneur Success) Program application is open! Young entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to complete an online course to improve their business idea. Once completed, they can submit their application to be considered for our virtual BizWorld Business Accelerator program to access mentors and funding! Students can create accounts and start their applications here.

Please help us spread this news through your networks to ensure we reach as many young people as possible. Please follow BizWorldorg on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn so you receive more notifications. We want to see how you are implementing BizWorld at home, so tag us using #BizWorldAtHome and #BizWorldCares and share your experience!

The continued support of all of us helping our communities will be critical for us in the coming months. Thank you for doing your part. We're grateful for our amazing communities of educators, students, and supporters.

We wish for the health and safety of you and your loved ones as we face this global challenge together.

Student's are challenged to take their BizWorld learnings to the next level and start real businesses to raise real money. This year we are challenging students to get creative and think outside the box to support their communities. We encourage students to look into their communities and find a need or a cause that they can help with. This can be by raising money virtually by showcasing their entrepreneurial skills by creating a stellar “pitch” video as to why people should support these charities OR become social entrepreneurs themselves and create their own businesses with a product or service to help their communities. Learn more...
